Existing slate damp course was affected by salts which allowed rising damp to penetrate stonework bringing with it salts that damaged the stonework.
Applying Cocoon to remove damp and associated salts which caused stone to fall off the building.

After removing the Cocoon we then repointed the whole building.
We built up stone work using compatible materials.
We cut paving away from building face and laid a course washed river sand.
We removed old Portland cement from previous poor repair works and repointed all joints using a sand and lime mix.
